Accessibility statement.
This site is built to be usable by everyone — here's the standard we hold it to, how we verify it, and how to tell us when we miss.
Last reviewed August 15, 2026. We review this statement at least annually and after any significant redesign.
Our conformance target
omzig.ai is built to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA — the benchmark U.S. courts, settlements, and the Department of Justice consistently point to for business websites. On top of that floor we deliberately meet a number of Level AAA criteria (listed below).
We do not claim blanket Level AAA conformance, and you should be skeptical of any site that does. The W3C itself advises that “it is not recommended that Level AAA conformance be required as a general policy for entire sites because it is not possible to satisfy all Level AAA Success Criteria for some content.” Claiming otherwise would be inaccurate.
Level AAA criteria we meet
- 1.4.6 Contrast (Enhanced) — body text is engineered to 7:1 against its real background, in both themes.
- 1.4.8 Visual Presentation — measured line lengths, line spacing of at least 1.5, never justified text, and a user-selectable light/dark theme.
- 1.4.9 Images of Text — no images of text anywhere except the logo.
- 2.1.3 Keyboard (No Exception) — every control, dialog, carousel, and demo is operable by keyboard alone.
- 2.2.3 No Timing — nothing on the site expires, times out, or forces you to hurry.
- 2.2.4 Interruptions — nothing interrupts you; the assistant and the cookie choice wait to be opened.
- 2.3.2 Three Flashes — no flashing content at all.
- 2.3.3 Animation from Interactions — all motion respects your reduced-motion setting.
- 2.4.8 Location — breadcrumbs on interior pages and a live section indicator in the navigation.
- 2.4.9 Link Purpose (Link Only) — every link makes sense read on its own; no “click here”.
- 2.4.10 Section Headings — content is organized under a correct heading hierarchy.
- 2.4.12 Focus Not Obscured (Enhanced) — the fixed header and floating controls never cover the element you have focused.
- 2.4.13 Focus Appearance — a 3px focus ring at 3:1 or better against its surroundings, in both themes.
- 2.5.5 Target Size (Enhanced) — interactive targets are at least 44×44 pixels.
- 2.5.6 Concurrent Input Mechanisms — mouse, keyboard, and touch all work at the same time; nothing is locked to one.
- 3.2.5 Change on Request — nothing navigates, submits, or opens a window without you asking.
- 3.3.5 Help — contact routes and the assistant are reachable from every page.
Where we fall short, and why
Stating these plainly is more useful than a silent gap. These Level AAA criteria are not met:
- 3.1.5 Reading Level — some pages describe security and Microsoft-platform concepts that cannot be reduced to a lower-secondary reading level without losing the precision that makes them useful. We mitigate this with plain-English explanations throughout, and the “Plain English” mode on the Built-with-AI page.
- 3.1.3 Unusual Words and 3.1.4 Abbreviations — we gloss technical terms and expand acronyms in most places, but not yet exhaustively on first use across every page.
- 1.2.6–1.2.9 and 1.4.7 (media criteria) — not applicable: the site contains no pre-recorded audio or video.
- 2.2.5, 2.2.6, 3.3.9 (session and authentication criteria) — not applicable: there is no login, session, or timeout anywhere on this site.
- 3.3.6 Error Prevention (All) — our forms validate inline and never discard what you typed on failure, but they do not yet include a separate review-and-confirm step before sending.
Third-party limitations
- The “Book a meeting” flow opens Microsoft Bookings, whose accessibility is Microsoft’s responsibility; the same booking can always be made by email or phone.
- Microsoft product screenshots inside demos are images; the surrounding walkthrough text carries the same information.
How we test
Automated axe-core sweeps run against every route on every release, in both themes, including the enhanced 7:1 contrast rule — plus keyboard-interaction tests, a check that no focusable control is hidden from assistive technology, a 44-pixel target-size check, and mobile layout checks. These gates run in CI; a release that fails does not ship.
We are honest about the limits of that: automated tooling reliably covers only a fraction of the Level AAA criteria — mainly contrast. Everything else above is verified by manual keyboard and screen-reader review, which is why we welcome reports from people who use this site with assistive technology.
